A holiday staycation was just what Theresa and her son Wayne wished for this year. After a tough few months of loss and sadness, Theresa said a Dream from Dreamweaver Foundation was “what they needed.”

A fun day was in store for the mother and son duo. Starting with a limo ride from VIP Limo, the two rode in style to the movie theater to see the holiday classic, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. After laughing for two hours straight, they got back into their limo and drove around downtown Omaha to see the beautiful holiday lights sparkling in the trees.

While downtown, they took a stroll through some shops and even ran into Santa at Hollywood Candy! Their next stop was Cascio’s Steakhouse to enjoy an elegant and delicious meal at one of Omaha’s most historic steakhouses. They enjoyed their meal with great service and great food.

After dinner they realized how tired they were from all the fun. Theresa and Wayne stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Old Market amongst the lights and festive holiday travelers. They rested and relaxed in luxury and ended their night watching movies together.

You don’t have to go far for a weekend vacation. Sometimes exploring and experiencing things in your own backyard are just as fun. Theresa and Wayne were brought new hope and happiness and carried this joy into their holiday season.

Thank you to Cascio’s Steakhouse, VIP Limo, and Dreamweaver volunteers for making this Dream a reality.
