Despite the distance between them, and the time that has passed since they last saw each other, Terry and his sister Pam are as close as can be. When his social worker from Hospice of the Midwest challenged Terry to Dream Big, his answer came quickly—Terry revealed that he wanted nothing more than to visit his sweet sister at her home in Idaho, and with his daughter Holly.
Dreamweaver got to work making the necessary travel arrangements, reaching out to our partners at CMT Travel for their help. Meanwhile, Terry and Holly were firming up plans to stay with Pam for ten days at her home in Marsing, Idaho. The day of the big departure, a limo arrived to whisk Terry and Holly away to the airport to catch their flight and members of the Dreamweaver Dream Team were there to see them safely off.
During this wonderful visit, the brother and sister caught up on lost time by telling jokes and reliving happy memories from their upbringing. Holly enjoyed reconnecting with her aunt and chauffeuring her dad around to explore the beautiful mountainous landscape. It truly was a Dream come true for Terry and Holly to spend this time together with a beloved family member.
Dreamweaver would like to thank Hospice of the Midwest for introducing us to Terry through our nomination process. We would also like to thank our friends at VIP Limousine, CMT Travel and Avis Rental car for helping to make this Dream possible! And a special thanks to our Dream Team Volunteers, Jackie and Bob, for making sure that Terry and Holly had a special send off and welcome home at the Omaha airport!
