Susan and her husband, Greg, have a love story for the ages taking place right here in Omaha, Nebraska. Having met as freshman at Creighton University while taking the same math class, the two quickly fell in love, and that love has never faded. Remaining in Omaha after they married, over the years, Susan and Greg’s love for each other grew to include eight children and nine grandchildren. St. Croix Hospice reached out to Dreamweaver Foundation to see if we could assist in Susan’s Dream of having a date night with her husband.
Our Dream Team was thrilled to assist Susan and Greg in having a special date night out together once again! Health conditions have prevented Susan from leaving the facility, so we wanted to make sure her big night out was extra special! With a new outfit, beautiful manicure, and fresh haircut and style, Susan was ready for that much-needed night out!
Susan and Greg made their way to one of their old favorite date night spots, Jerico’s Steakhouse. Once at the restaurant, Susan was surprised by the romantic touch of red roses waiting for her at the table. The couple indulged in a perfectly cooked prime rib meal and soaked up the experience of once again being out with their long-time love and best friend.
After eight children, health problems, and so many years together, Susan’s biggest Dream was a date with her beloved husband, and Dreamweaver Foundation was so happy we were able to help out and bear witness to their love!
