Looking nice and dressing up has always been important to Roberta. She loves putting on a pretty dress, big floppy hat and curling her fiery red hair! While raising eight kids and working full-time as a CNA, she didn’t always have the means to express herself through her style, but that never stopped her from having the passion to look nice.
When she moved to Premier Estates of Pierce, her love for fashion didn’t change. Mary
AseraCare – Norfolk social worker, wanted to give Roberta her very own Glamour Day. Early on a Saturday morning, Jeanie Emry gave Roberta a beautiful new haircut, curled her hair, manicured her luxurious nails and enhanced her beauty with a bit of make-up. She was stunning in her new outfit from Von Maur. The black and blue dress, sparkly jewelry and her big, floppy hat made the outfit extra gorgeous. Of course, a Glamour Day isn’t complete without glamour shots. Tammy from Reflections Portraits captured Roberta’s beauty and sassy attitude! Just like a celebrity, Roberta received gorgeous flowers to top off the day.
Roberta was in disbelief someone would do all this for her. She was still talking about her Glamour Day days after being all dolled up. It was a great day!
Dreamweaver Foundation would like to thank Mary from AseraCare – Norfolk, Premier Estates of Pierce, Lisa Ludden and daughters, Evelyn from Von Maur, Jeanie Emry and Tammy from Reflections Portraits for partnering with us to fulfill Roberta’s dream.
