Pauline has loved to travel since she was a young girl. She traveled through the West Coast with her father and through most of the Mid-West with her husband, Joe. Her Dream has always been to see all 50 states. When Pauline received her cancer diagnosis in 2015, she wasn’t sure if she would be able to travel again and see the remaining states on her list.

Pauline attended school for some time at Bellevue University. She didn’t know exactly what she wanted to study, but she knew she wanted to help people in some way. Pauline worked as a para-educator for special needs children in the early childhood development for the Omaha Public Schools for six years. It was a hard job, but very rewarding. Pauline’s mantra has always been to help others before herself. Her sister-in-law, Belinda, wanted to do something that was just for Pauline, so she nominated her to receive a Dream! That’s when the Dreamweaver Foundation stepped in. We wanted to help fulfill Pauline’s Dream of visiting all 50 states. Through the help of Moostash Joe Tours we were able to send Pauline and Belinda on a bus tour to New Orleans.

They spent six days with Moostash Joe’s Tours; New Orleans Passion, Purpose and Pride. Pauline and Belinda enjoyed dinner on the Natchez Steamboat, tours of the French Quarter, WWII Museum, St. Louis Cemetery, Hurricane Katrina sites, Longue Vue House and much more! Pauline said, “if the people of New Orleans can overcome so much, so can I.”

Dreamweaver Foundation would like to thank our partners for helping us fulfill Pauline’s Dream; VIP Limo and Moostash Joe Tours.
