Jeanette’s optimism and joyous outlook on life shines through every conversation and interaction. She was grateful for the opportunity to partake in a Dream from Dreamweaver Foundation like her husband had done the year before. Her diagnosis was challenging on her body, but her mind was able to still find peace and joy.
Originally, Jeanette and her sister were planning on having a girl’s weekend staycation in Omaha. But because of COVID-19, she patiently waited to hear when hotels and restaurants would re-open. After a few months of waiting and rescheduling, Jeanette decided she would be flexible with her plans. She chose to have a box filled to the brim with craft supplies delivered to her house so she would be able to still have some fun and enjoy her time while at home.
Jeanette had been working on creating custom wrapped vases. She uses a variety of material—string, beads, ribbon, buttons, bows—to create a beautiful masterpiece! With the help of her sister, Dreamweaver was able to provide all the material she uses for her vases (and some extra fun things) so she was fully equipped to take on her projects with joy.
Although Jeanette was not available to come see her package on the front porch that day, her sister was a wonderful help in getting the package to her. Jeanette shared how thrilled she was with all the supplies, and the beautiful floral bouquet from HyVee. Her optimism and patience through a challenging time resulted in a big smile and an abundance of gratitude.
Thank you to Hobby Lobby and HyVee for making Jeanette’s Dream come true!
