Doris’s special 87th birthday was truly one for the books! More than anything, she was looking forward to celebrating with her family, especially her son, whom she hasn’t been able to visit with as often as she would like. Having him there to share in her special day made the celebration even more meaningful.
To get ready for her big day, Doris was treated to a fresh haircut and style, along with a brand-new outfit she couldn’t wait to wear. Then, the celebration began in grand fashion when a limo arrived at her residence and literally rolled out the red carpet! Doris, her daughter, and grandchildren climbed into the limo and enjoyed a fun ride around the block before arriving at the theater, adding an extra touch of excitement to her special day.
Before the movie, everyone enjoyed delicious chocolate cupcakes before settling in for a private showing of The Magic Faraway Tree. The whimsical and entertaining film brought the beloved childhood story to life and gave the family plenty to enjoy together. After the movie, the celebration continued as the limo whisked Doris and her family to Outback Steakhouse, where she was especially excited to enjoy two of her favorites: a delicious steak and a Bloomin’ Onion!
Over dinner, the family shared wonderful food, laughter, and meaningful conversation while celebrating the incredible matriarch at the heart of their family. From the limo ride and movie to her favorite meal surrounded by the people she loves, Doris’s 87th birthday was filled with moments she will treasure.
