Dina relocated from Texas to Nebraska City after Hurricane Rita hit in 2008. She decided, this was the perfect time to move away from her home to live closer to her parents located in Lincoln.
Dina expressed to Victoria her AseraCare Hospice social worker about her dream to see her mom again. Both Dina and her mom have experienced a decline in health recently. Victoria contacted Dreamweaver Foundation to nominate Dina to fulfill her dream of spending time with her mom.
A few days later, Victoria and her mom were reunited! Victoria was escorted comfortably by VIP Limo from Nebraska City to Lincoln. The mother and daughter enjoyed each other’s company, catching up for hours and enjoying a meatloaf lunch and cake for dessert.
This would be the last time Dina would see her mom as she passed away a few days later. It was an honor to be a part of Dina’s dream and reconnect the mother and daughter.
