Cheri Mastny

Executive Director

Growing up in rural Nebraska, Cheri was raised with small-town values…always putting others first.  With a passion for people and music, Cheri attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln studying vocal music, but it was her passion for people that would drive her career.  After beginning an adventure in healthcare, Cheri quickly found her way into the post-acute care/skilled nursing setting, spending 10 years as a director of sales and marketing. Wanting to re-ignite her passion to help others, Cheri left the for-profit world becoming a director of development for a nonprofit organization in Omaha.  It didn’t take long for Cheri to miss the interaction she was used to with elder adults, and the when the opportunity came knocking for Cheri to be reunited with seniors, she could not turn it down. As the Executive Director of Dreamweaver Foundation, Cheri’s passion for people, especially elder adults is evident.

Cheri and her husband Matt reside in Fremont, Nebraska with their three children – Charli, Graeme and Briggs. She enjoys music, gardening, farming and spending time with friends and family. Cheri volunteers at Archbishop Bergan Catholic School as a youth coach and is active in her parish, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
